Are you trans?

Yes, I'm a trans girl. I came out in June of 2023. At the moment I'm currently pre-HRT, but I plan to get HRT in the future once I can afford to move out of my current living situation.

Who is the girl seen in the site header and some other parts of this site?

That's my OC, also named Alice. She is my persona, a representation of myself. And yes, she is also trans just like me.

What software do you use to compose music?

I mainly compose my music using LMMS. From 2020 to 2023, I used Cakewalk by BandLab, however, as of 2024, I have since switched back to LMMS.

As for vocals, I use vocal synths. At the moment, my main vocal synth is OpenUtau and the main voicebank I use is Alys, specifically her UTAU and DiffSinger voicebanks. I wish I could sing one of my own songs, but at the moment I'm not comfortable doing so due to lack of privacy.

What's your favorite song(s) you've composed?

Blue Rose Princess, Tsuioku Melodia, Fairytale, Fantasia, Morpho, Kochou Seihane, Flower's Wish, Snowy Promise, Yukira Seika, and Snow's Oath.

Do you have any plans for an album?

I've been thinking of working on an album for years now, but I still haven't gotten around to it. I have a Bandcamp account which I created for the purpose of album releases, but at the moment it's empty because I haven't released any albums yet... well, aside from a 3-track EP I released in late 2021 under the 全て蝶々の所為です。(Subete Chouchou no Sei desu) alias.

Maybe I'll start work on my first full-length album soon... who knows...

Why aren't you on Spotify?

Spotify is a horrible, exploitative corporation that rips musicians off, pays fascists more than they actually pay musicians, and has been known to be quietly funding the development of warfare using the money that should've went to artists who put their music on the platform. For this, I refuse to put my music up on Spotify or any other major corporate-owned music streaming services.

My music is and will always be free anyway. However, if you own a self-hosted Navidrome instance, you are free to put my music up on it.

How did you make this website?

I coded it myself. Admittedly, I'm a novice at coding, so my website isn't perfect and I can't really teach you a lot aside from what I currently know. You are free to look at my somewhat unorganized code and use it as a reference or even copy snippets of it for your website if you want.
